At least seven Iraqis were killed and 27 others injured Tuesday in three separate attacks across the Iraqi capital, police sources said. A remote-controlled car bomb went off near a police station in the crowded Sheikh Omar district in central Baghdad killing at least five Iraqis and wounding 17 others, an Iraqi police source said. Also Tuesday, two Iraqis were killed and six others wounded in a roadside car bomb blast in a commercial complex in Karada district, an Iraqi police source said. In southern Baghdad, at least four Iraqis were injured Tuesday when a mortar shell struck al-Walid residential district, DPA quoted witnesses as saying.
