RIYADH-BASED NAIF UNIVERSITY FOR SECURITY SCIENCES AND THE BRITISH TEESIDE UNIVERSITY HAVE SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU). THE SIGNING OF THE MOU COMES IN LINE WITH THE GOALS OF NAIF UNIVERSITY FOR SECURITY SCIENCES FOR ENHANCING THE PILLARS OF THE ARAB SECURITY IN ITS COMPREHENSIVE CONCEPT AND PREVENTING OCCURRENCE OF CRIME AND DEVELOPING THE CONCEPTS OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE AS WELL AS THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARAB SECURITY ORGANS AND IMPROVING THEIR PERFORMANCE. DIRECTOR OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AT NAIF UNIVERSITY DR SAQR AL-MUKAYYED SAID THE UNIVERSITY IS AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION. HE NOTED THAT THE SIGNING OF THE MOU COMES IN LINE WITH THE DIRECTIVES OF PRINCE NAIF BIN ABDULAZIZ, THE INTERIOR MINISTER AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE UNIVERSITY, TO CEMENT SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF PREVENTING CRIME AND TAKING THE REQUIRED PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AGAINST IT AS WELL AS REALIZATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE WITH THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES, NOTABLY THE UN AND ITS REGIONAL INSTITUTES AND THE ARAB, EUROPEAN AND AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES.
