THE KINGDOM'S NON-PETROLEUM EXPORTS IN LAST NOVEMBER JUMPED TO SR 7634 MILLION FROM SR 5971 MILLION IN NOVEMBER 2005, SAID A REPORT ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL STATISTICS AND DATA AT THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY AND PLANNING.
THE REPORT POINTED OUT THAT THE PETROCHEMICAL MATERIALS TOPPED THE LIST OF THE EXPORTS AMOUNTING TO SR 2563 MILLION.
THEY WERE FOLLOWED BY THE EXPORTS OF THE PLASTIC MATERIALS WHICH AMOUNTED TO SR 1917 MILLION, THE RE-EXPORTED COMMODITIES AMOUNTED TO SR 1085 MILLION, MINERALS AND THEIR PRODUCTS AMOUNTED TO SR 587 MILLION, WHILE THE VALUE OF OTHER COMMODITIES AMOUNTED TO SR 1482 MILLION.
AS REGARD IMPORTS DURING THE SAME PERIOD, THEY AMOUNTED TO SR25013 MILLION.
ELECTRIC EQUIPMENTS TOPPED THE LIST OF THE IMPORTS AMOUNTING TO SR 7100 MILLION, THEY WERE FOLLOWED BY THE IMPORTS OF THE TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT WHICH AMOUNTED TO SR 4880 MILLION, MINERAL AND THEIR PRODUCTS AMOUNTED TO SR 4246 MILLION, FOOD STUFFS AMOUNTED TO SR 2465 MILLION, WHILE THE VALUE OF OTHER COMMODITIES AMOUNTED TO SR6322 MILLION.
ACCORDING TO THE REPORT, THE MOST IMPORTANT IMPORTING COUNTRIES FROM THE KINGDOM INCLUDE THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE) (SR1105 MILLION), KUWAIT (SR535 MILLION), AND CHINA (SR457 MILLION).
THE VALUE OF EXPORTS TO OTHER COUNTRIES AMOUNTED TO SR5537 MILLION.
THE VALUES OF COMMODITIES IMPORTED FROM THE GCC MEMBER STATES DURING NOVEMBER 2006 JUMPED TO SR 1005 MILLION FROM SR 718 MILLION IN NOVEMBER 2005.
THE VALUE OF THE KINGDOM NON-PETROLEUM EXPORTS TO THE GCC MEMBER STATES IN NOVEMBER 2006 INCREASED TO SR1959 FROM SR 1216 MILLION IN NOVEMBER 2005.
