One Russian coal miner was killed and nine were injured on today after part of a shaft collapsed in a coal mining region in Siberia. "94 miners were working underground at the mine in the town of Kiselyovsk at the time of the accident," the administration of Siberia's Kemerovo region as said in a statement. According to Reuters, the accident occurred just days after another miner died in a similar accident in the same region. The Kemerovo region lies on some of the world's biggest coal reserves.
