A rockslide in a Russian coal mine Thursday killed one worker and injured another, an emergency official in Siberia said. The two miners were found under the rubble, one of them dead, said a duty officer for the Siberian branch of the Emergency Situations Ministry, reported the Associated Press. The mine in the coal-rich region of Kemerovo, about 3,000 kilometers (1,850 miles) east of Moscow, did not halt operations because of the accident, the official said.
