Indian Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mani Shanka Aiyar arrived here today for a two-day visit to the Kingdom at an invitation of Saudi General President of Youth Welfare. At King Khalid International Airport, he was received by General President of Youth Welfare Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz; Vice President of Youth Welfare Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz; Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom M.O.H. Farooq; and senior officials. Prince Sultan bin Fahd welcomed the Indian Minister, lauding the depth of relations between the Kingdom and India, especially in the field of youth and sport. In a press statement, Prince Sultan bin Fahd stated that a joint meeting will be held to discuss ways of cooperation through a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in the field of youth and sport for the next five years. On his part, the Indian Minister thanked Prince Sultan bin Fahd for his invitation. He pointed out that the memorandum of understanding in the field of youth and sport, which was included in the joint agreement signed between the Saudi and Indian sides during the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to India, will be implemented and activated.
