JORDANIAN ENDOWMENTS MINISTER ABDEL-FATTAH SALAH HAS DENIED THE ISRAELI ALLEGATIONS WHICH SAID THAT ISRAEL HAD COORDINATED WITH JORDAN PRIOR TO THE START OF THE DIGGING OPERATIONS IN THE VICINITY OF AL-AQSA MOSQUE. IN A STATEMENT PUBLISHED HERE TODAY, SALAH SAID JORDAN HAS PLAYED A DISTINGUISHED ROLE THROUGH VARIOUS CHANNELS TO STOP THE DIGGING OPERATIONS. 'THE ISRAELI ALLEGATIONS IN THIS RESPECT ARE INCORRECT, AND THEY AIM AT MISLEADING THE PUBLIC OPINION IN JORDAN AND THE ARAB AND MUSLIM WORLD', HE SAID AND ADDED 'THE ISRAELI PLOTS AGAINST AL-AQSA MOSQUE COME IN LINE WITH THE ZIONIST PLOTS TO CHANGE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF OCCUPIED JERUSALEM'.
