JABBAR KARIM SAEED ABU OLYA AND ALI HAMZA HUMEID AL-MISH'ALAWI, IRAQI NATIONALS, WERE BEHEADED HERE TODAY AFTER BEING CONVICTED OF SMUGGLING DRUGS INTO THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA, SAID A STATEMENT RELEASED BY THE INTERIOR MINISTRY.
THE CULPRITS WERE CONVICTED BY THE COURT AND THE VERDICT WAS APPROVED BY THE CASSATION COURT AND THE SUPREME JUDICIAL COUNCIL.
THE STATEMENT REITERATED THE DETERMINATION OF THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT ON ENSURING LAW AND ORDER AND SEVERELY PUNISHING THE CRIMINALS.
