KING HAMAD BIN ISA AL-KHALIFA OF BAHRAIN AND SHEIKH SABAH AL-AHMAD AL-JABER AL-SABAH, THE KUWAITI EMIR, HAVE REITERATED THEIR SUPPORT TO THE MARCH OF THE ARAB GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC). A STATEMENT ISSUED AT THE END OF THE VISIT OF THE BAHRAINI KING TO KUWAIT LAST NIGHT, UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF ENHANCING THE ROLE OF THE GCC IN ALL PROBLEMS THAT CONCERN THE MEMBER STATES, NOTABLY THE CURRENT REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGES. THE STATEMENT LAUDED THE ACHIEVEMENTS ATTAINED BY THE GCC IN ALL DOMAINS. IN ADDITION TO KUWAIT AND BAHRAIN, THE GCC COMPRISES SAUDI ARABIA, THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, QATAR AND OMAN.
