PRESIDENT KAROLOS PAPOULIAS OF GREECE COMMENDED THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ FOR HIS EFFORTS IN THE SERVICE OF WORLD PEACE AND SECURITY WHILE THE WORLD IS WITNESSING CONFLICTS IN VARIOUS AREAS.
IN A MEETING HERE TODAY WITH SAUDI-GREEK PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP COMMITTEE DELEGATION OF SAUDI SHOURA COUNCIL HEADED BY DR. FAHD BIN JABER AL-SHAMMARI, THE GREEK PRESIDENT EXPRESSED HIS APPRECIATION OF AND THANKS TO THE KING FOR THE WARM WELCOME DURING HIS VISIT TO THE KINGDOM LAT APRIL.
HE EXPRESSED HIS COUNTRY'S APPRECIATION, RESPECT AND SINCERE LOVE FOR THE KING AND THE SAUDI PEOPLE.
THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO GREECE MOHAMMED BIN MAHMOUD AL-QAHTANI.
THE DELEGATION ALSO MET TODAY WITH SPEAKER OF GREEK PARLIAMENT ANNA BENAKI AND HANDED HER AN INVITATION FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF SHOURA COUNCIL DR. SALIH BIN HUMAID TO VISIT THE KINGDOM.
THE DELEGATION ALSO MET WITH MEMBERS OF GREEK-SAUDI PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP COMMITTEE AND THEY DISCUSSED ENHANCEMENT OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
