ABDEL-LATIF AL ALSHEIKH, A MEMBER OF THE HIGHER COMMISSION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RIYADH CITY, SAID THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE MEETING ARE SCHEDULED TO REVIEW THE EXECUTIVE PLAN FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. IT IS WORTH MENTIONING THAT THE HIGHER COMMITTEE FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, AN AFFILIATE OF THE HIGHER COMMISSION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RIYADH CITY, IS CONCERNED WITH THE ENVIRONMENTAL SITUATION. IT HAS BEEN COORDINATING WITH OTHER CONCERNED AUTHORITIES FOR CARRYING OUT THE PROGRAMS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. THE COMMITTEE INCLUDES THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MINISTRIES OF AGRICULTURE; TRANSPORT; PETROLEUM AND MINERAL RESOURCES; CULTURE AND INFORMATION, AND EDUCATION AS WELL AS THE HIGHER COMMISSION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RIYADH CITY; RIYADH MUNICIPALITY; THE GENERAL PRESIDENCY FOR METEOROLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION; THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT (NCWCD); THE TRAFFIC ADMINISTRATION IN RIYADH; THE SAUDI COMMISSION FOR THE INDUSTRIAL CITIES; THE SAUDI ARABIAN STANDARDS ORGANIZATION (SASO); KING ABDULAZIZ CITY FOR SCIENCES AD TECHNOLOGY (KACST), THE SAUDI ELECTRICITY COMPANY AND THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL FOR WATER IN RIYADH REGION.
