THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA AND EGYPT SIGNED HERE TODAY A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON THE AMENDMENT OF SOME ARTICLES OF THE AGREEMENT THAT ESTABLISHED THE JOINT COMMITTEE OF THE TWO COUNTRIES. THE AMENDMENT STATES THAT THE DELIBERATIONS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE BE CO-CHAIRED BY THE MINISTERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF THE TWO COUNTRIES INSTEAD OF FOREIGN MINISTERS. THE MEMORANDUM WAS SIGNED BY SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO EGYPT HISHAM NADHIR AND EGYPTIAN ASSISTANT FOREIGN MINISTER HANI KHALLAF. THE SAUDI AMBASSADOR SAID THAT THIS AMENDMENT IS A MERE CONCENTRATION OF SPECIALIZATIONS AND THAT COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES EXIST IN ALL ASPECTS.
