Egypt to send representative to rebel-held east Libya

Egypt will send an official representative to be based in Benghazi, the east Libyan stronghold of rebels fighting to end Muammar Gaddafi's four-decade rule, Egypt's foreign minister said on Wednesday.
A former deputy foreign minister, Hany Khallaf, would be sent as a special envoy to represent Egypt in Benghazi, Foreign Minister Nabil Elaraby said, the official news agency reported, according to Reuters.
