THE SECURITY AUTHORITIES IN YEMEN HAVE ARRESTED TWO DRUG PEDDLERS WHO WERE CARRYING MORE THAN SEVEN KILOGRAMS OF DRUGS, REPORTED A SANAA-BASED NEWSPAPER. SECURITY DIRECTOR OF AL-MALAHEED PROVINCE LT. COLONEL MAHMOUD ABDULAZIZ TOLD YEMENI 'AL-BILAD' NEWSPAPER THAT THE PEDDLERS WERE ARRESTED WHEN THEY WERE TRYING TO SMUGGLE THE DRUGS FROM SUDA PROVINCE TO THE HARAD REGION IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA VIA AL-MALAHEED PROVINCE. INVESTIGATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH THE PEDDLERS PRIOR TO BRINGING THEM TO TRIAL, LT.COLONEL ABDULAZIZ SAID.
