Pakistan s privatization and investment policies are very impressive and the investment programme provided attractive opportunities to the investors, says an official statement. These views were expressed at Economic Coordination Organization or ECO Conference at Ankara, which focused on the privatization experience of Turkey in Telecom, Energy, Petroleum, Iron, Steel, Sea Ports, regulatory regime and the process. They lauded the achievements made by Pakistan on the economic front under the leadership of President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. The participants showed keen interest in various sectors and expressed that the privatization process would be beneficial for the investors. On the concluding day Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan made country presentations.
