PERSONS WHO ARRIVED IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA UP TO FRIDAY, DEC 30, 2006, FOR PERFORMING HAJJ RITUALS AMOUNTED TO 1,654,407.
THEY ARRIVED IN THE KINGDOM VIA KING ABDULAZIZ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF JEDDAH, PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN ABDULAZIZ AIRPORT OF MADINAH, THE ISLAMIC PORT OF JEDDAH, HALAT-AMMAR ENTRY POINT, AL-BAT'HA ENTRY POINT AND OTHER ENTRY POINTS, SAID THE REPORT RELEASED BY THE HAJJ CENTRAL COMMITTEE.
THE REPORT NOTED THAT NO CASES OF SUN STROKE OR HEAT EXHAUSTION WERE REPORTED AMONG THE PILGRIMS, BU THE NUMBER OF PILGRIMS WHO DIED HAS AMOUNTED TO 330.
