China to host symposium between Isrealis and Palestinians

China will host a symposium this week for Israeli and Palestinian politicians to discuss peace in the Middle East, AP quoted a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman as saying Tuesday.
The four-day event will begin Thursday, said ministry spokesman Qin Gang.
He said it will be attended by Yossi Beilin, leader of Israel's dovish Meretz Party, and Abdel-Kader Hamid, better known as Kadoura Fares, a former legislator and activist for Fatah.
