PRINCE NAIF, ALBOURSAEEDI HOLD MEETING

PRINCE NAIF BIN ABDULAZIZ, MINISTER OF INTERIOR, AND VISITING MINISTER OF INTERIOR OF OMAN SAUD BIN IBRAHIM ALBOURSAEEDI HELD A ROUND OF TALKS IN RIYADH TONIGHT IN CONTINUATION TO JOINT MEETINGS BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES WITHIN THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
AT THE OUTSET OF THE MEETING, PRINCE NAIF WELCOMED THE OMANI GUEST AND ACCOMPANYING DELEGATION, WISHING THEM GOOD STAY IN THE KINGDOM.
HE UNDERSCORED THE DEEP-ROOTED RELATIONS AND FIRM FRATERNAL TIES BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES' PEOPLES.
HE ALSO UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TALKS AS SECURITY IS NOW THE WORLD'S PRIORITY, NOTING THE IMPORTANCE OF THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL IN BRINGING ABOUT PEACE, SECURITY AND STABILITY TO THE WORLD.
HE DREW COMMON LINES BETWEEN SECURITY AND ECONOMY. DESPITE PERIODICAL TERRORIST ATTACKS OVER THE PREVIOUS YEARS IN THE KINGDOM, SAUDI ARABIA ENJOYS SECURITY, A CONDITION FOR A FLOURISHING ECONOMY.
HE LAUDED THE SAUDI SECURITY MEN AND ORGANIZATIONS WORKING IN THE KINGDOM AND FIGHTING A FIERCE BUT DIMINISHING PHENOMENON, THANKS TO THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES AND THE BRAVERY OF THE COUNTRY'S SECURITY FORCES PERSONNEL.
ON HIS PART, THE OMANI MINISTER THANKED THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR OF THE KINGDOM FOR WARM WELCOME AND GENEROUS HOSPITALITY.
HE LAUDED THE DEEP-ROOTED TIES BINDING THE TWO COUNTRIES.
ALBOURSAEEDI CONGRATULATED PRINCE NAIF ON THE SUCCESSES SCORED BY THE KINGDOM'S SECURITY MEN AGAINST A WAVE OF TERRORISM ATTACKS.
DURING THE MEETING, THEY REVIEWED THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF MEETINGS OF JOINT BORDER AUTHORITIES AND THE FIELD OF COOPERATION AND COORDINATION IN THE BORDER REGION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
THE TWO SIDES AGREED ON THE LOCATION OF THE BORDER OUTLET BETWEEN THE KINGDOM AND THE SULTANATE.
THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY SENIOR OFFICIALS OF THE TWO SIDES.
