THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION IYAD BIN AMIN MADANI MET WITH SAUDI AMBASSADORS ABROAD AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE FOREIGN MINISTRY IN RIYADH ON MONDAY. ADDRESSING THE AMBASSADORS, MINISTER MADANI POINTED TO CONTINUAL EFFORTS OF THE MINISTRY TO HIGHLIGHT THE KINGDOM'S IMAGE IN CULTURAL AND INFORMATION ABROAD, ITS CONTRIBUTION TO CONTACTS WITH OTHER CULTURES AND ITS EXTENSION OF COOPERATION BRIDGES WITH VARIOUS INFORMATION CHANNELS TO SERVE THE KINGDOM'S EFFORTS AT THE REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL ARENAS. HE NOTED THAT BOOKS AND PUBLICATIONS BEING PROVIDED BY THE MINISTRY FOR EMBASSIES AND NEWS AND REPORTS TRANSMITTED BY SAUDI PRESS AGENCY (SPA) IN ARABIC AND ENGLISH ARE CONSIDERED AS INFORMATION CONDUITS OF THE INTERNAL ACTIVITY AND AS WINDOWS OF ACQUAINTANCE FOR THE WORLD. THE MINISTER EMPHASIZED THE IMPORTANCE OF COMBINING THE MINISTRY'S EFFORTS AND THE SAUDI EMBASSIES ALL OVER THE WORLD. THEN A DIALOGUE WAS HELD BETWEEN THE MINISTER AND THE AMBASSADORS ON THE MINISTRY'S ACTIVITIES AT VARIOUS INTERNATIONAL ARENAS. THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SAUD BIN KHALID, DIRECTOR GENERAL OF INFORMATION AND STUDIES CENTER AT THE FOREIGN MINISTRY AND A NUMBER OF THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION UNDERSECRETARIES AND OFFICIALS.
