General J N R Houghton, CBE, Chief of Joint Operations UK Armed Forces, has visited Pakistan Army's General Headquarters and called on Vice Chief of Army Staff General Ahsan Saleem Hayat, says an official statement. The British general is currently on an official visit to Pakistan along with his eight members entourage. Houghton and Hayat remained together for some time and shared their views regarding matters of professional significance. Houghton later called on Lt-Gen Sallahuddin, Chief of General Staff at General Headquarters. Matters of professional interest were discussed during the meeting.
