Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Ameen Madani and Egyptian Minister of Culture Farooq Hosni opened here Thursday evening, the Saudi Arts Exhibition which is held on the sidelines of the activities of the Saudi Cultural Days event in Egypt. After opening the exhibition, the two ministers toured various sections of the exhibition, which included portraits of plastic art and Arabic calligraphy, sculpture and photographs. They also listened to a detailed briefing on the contents of the exhibition. After the tour, the Egyptian Minister of Culture expressed his admiration for the high level of Saudi artists, who he said could compete globally.
