THE GCC FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION COMMITTEE BEGAN HERE TODAY ITS MEETING UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE UAE. SPEAKING ON THE OCCASION, ARAB GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL'S (GCC) ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL FOR ECONOMIC AFFAIRS MOHAMMED AL-MAZROU'EI HIGHLIGHTED THE FACILITIES EXTENDED BY SAUDI ARABIA TO THE GCC. HE ALSO PRAISED THE SIGNIFICANT ROLE OF THE GCC FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC COOPERATION COMMITTEE TO CEMENT JOINT ECONOMIC WORK. AL-MAZROU'EI NOTED THAT THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE MEETING ARE SCHEDULED TO REVIEW A NUMBER OF TOPICS INCLUDING THE CUSTOMS UNION, THE GULF COMMON MARKET AND OTHER RELATED TOPICS. THE GCC IS MADE UP OF SAUDI ARABIA, THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, KUWAIT, QATAR, BAHRAIN AND OMAN.
