THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE EIGHTH MONACO SUMMIT, DUE TO BE HELD FROM OCTOBER 31 TO NOVEMBER 2, 2006. THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE SUMMIT WILL REVIEW CRIME ACROSS BORDERS WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF A NUMBER OF HEADS OF GOVERNMENTS, MINISTERS, SPECIALISTS, MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENTS, PROMINENT BUSINESSMEN, DECISION-MAKERS AND REPRESENTATIVES OF CONCERNED INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. THE SAUDI DELEGATION, WHICH INCLUDES REPRESENTATIVES OF MINISTRIES OF INTERIOR, FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND JUSTICE, WILL BE LED BY DR AHMAD BIN MOHAMMED AL-SALIM, THE UNDERSECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR MINISTRY. THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE MEETING ARE SCHEDULED TO REVIEW CRIME ACROSS BORDERS, SMUGGLING OF WEAPONS, DRUGS AND HUMAN BEINGS AS WELL AS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, MONEY LAUNDERING, DEVELOPMENT OF SYSTEMS OF EARLY WARNING AND OTHER RELATED TOPICS. THE SAUDI DELEGATION WILL PRESENT A PAPER ON THE EFFORTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE KINGDOM IN THE FIELD OF COMBATING TERRORISM AND MONEY LAUNDERING.
