An earthquake rattled towns near Italy's Adriatic resort coast and parts of the central region of Umbria Saturday morning, officials said. No damage or injuries were reported, REPORTED AP. The temblor had a preliminary magnitude of 4.4, according to the National Geophysics Institute. A quake of that magnitude can cause moderate damage. The towns closest to the epicenter were Castelleone di Suasa and Corinaldo in the province of Ancona, and San Lorenzo in Campo, inland from the resort town of Pesaro, the Civil Protection Department said. Authorities said initial checks indicated no property damage or injuries, the ANSA news agency reported. Ancona is 320 kilometers (195 miles) northeast of Rome.
