French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy condemned the North Korean nuclear test Monday, saying the international community should take swift action against the Communist regime. «France firmly condemns today's nuclear test by North Korea,» Douste-Blazy told The Associated Press, adding that it «poses a serious problem to international security.» «France will turn towards her partners in the Security Council to quickly come up with a reaction,» he said. Douste-Blazy was in Geneva on Monday for a meeting with other ministers and WHO representatives on a new program for raising money in the fight against diseases such as AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis, through an international air-ticket levy.
