Greek coast guards have detained 61 illegal immigrants and arrested five suspected human smugglers on a trawler in the Aegean Sea, AP QUOTED authorities as saying Wednesday. The 27-meter (88-foot) foot vessel was stopped late Tuesday off the islet of Rheneia, near the resort island of Mykonos, the Merchant Marine Ministry said. The migrants, all men, told authorities they were from Kashmir and had set out on their voyage from Senegal, a ministry official said. The suspected smugglers' names and identities were not released.
