Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization -ISESCO- met with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, today in Moscow. During this encounter, the two parties discussed ISESCO mission and role in enhancing the culture of dialogue and coexistence among civilizations and cultures. ISESCO Director General also paid a visit today to the Kremlin Palace accompanied by the Head of the Protocol Administration who provided him with explanations about the history of the Kremlin and the works of art it contains. By the same token, Dr. Altwaijri visited the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Civilization (Moscow Teachers University) which was created by the Islamic Organization many years ago in order to spread the Arabic language in the Russian Federation, both among Muslims and non-Muslims, and to encourage studies on the contribution of Islamic civilization to human civilization.
