More than 4.6 Million students benefit under general education coverage

As many as 4,658,000 primary, intermediate and secondary students are covered under Saudi Arabia's general education program for the academic year 1425-1426 AH.
THE NUMBER OF SCHOOLS OF THE GENERAL EDUCATION AMOUNTED TO 30, 670, WHICH ARE ASSISTED BY A TOTAL OF 425,848 TEACHERS IN THE ACADEMIC STUDIES OF THE STUDENTS.
MEANWHILE, THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS AT THE SCHOOLS OF ADULTS EDUCATION, DUE TO THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF THE GENERAL EDUCATIONAL SECTOR IN THE COUNTRY, HAS DROPPED FROM 26, 343 IN 1424-1425 AH TO 25, 123 FOR THE PRESENT TIME.
AS REGARDS GIRLS EDUCATION, THE NUMBER OF FEMALE STUDENTS IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 1425-1426 AH AMOUNTED TO 2,292,486, WHO ARE PURSUING THEIR ACADEMIC STUDIES IN 16, 424 EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
WITH REGARD TO THE HOLY QURAN MEMORIZATION SCHOOLS, THEIR NUMBER AMOUNTED TO 781 WITH 90,467 STUDENTS AND 8, 743 TEACHERS IN 1425-1426 AH.
THE SCHOOLS OF THE RETARDED MALE STUDENTS AMOUNTED TO 790 WITH 14,117 STUDENTS AND 4, 220 TEACHERS IN 1425-1426 AH, WHILE THE SCHOOLS OF THE RETARDED FEMALE STUDENTS AMOUNTED TO 113 WITH 4, 841 STUDENTS AND 1, 297 TEACHERS IN THE SAME YEAR.
