ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE (OIC) IZZAT MUFTI SAID THE SEVENTH CONFERENCE OF THE ISLAMIC INFORMATION MINISTERS, DUE TO BE HELD IN JEDDAH ON WEDNESDAY, AIMS AT REACHING A COMMON VISION FOR FORMULIZATION OF A MEDIA STRATEGY IN THE MUSLIM COUNTRIES. IN A STATEMENT ANNOUNCED HERE TODAY, MUFTI NOTED THAT THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MEETING STEMS FROM THE FACT THAT IT BEGINS ITS MARCH BY A NEW SPIRIT WHICH CONFIRMS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE RESOLUTIONS. 'THE CONFERENCE OF THE ISLAMIC INFORMATION MINISTERS IS ONE OF THE SIGNS TO THE ONGOING EFFORTS FOR CONTAINING THE VICIOUS CAMPAIGNS BEING LAUNCHED AGAINST THE MUSLIM NATION', HE SAID, ADDING THAT 'THE MUSLIM NATION IS IN NEED OF MOBILIZING ITS POTENTIALITIES TO CONFRONT THESE CAMPAIGNS'.
