THE STATEMENT URGED THE WORLD COMMUNITY TO COERCE ISRAEL TO WITHDRAW ITS FORCES FROM ALL LEBANESE TERRITORIES AND STOP THE LAND, AIR AND SEA ATTACKS AND SURVEILLANCE.
THE GCC SUPPORTS LEBANON IN DEPLOYING ITS ARMY ON ALL ITS NATIONAL TERRITORY AND VOWS TO CONTINUE ASSISTANCE TO THE LEBANESE PEOPLE TO REHABILITATE THEIR COUNTRY WITHIN THE ARAB EFFORT ANNOUNCED BY THE ARAB FOREIGN MINISTER IN CAIRO ON AUGUST 20, 2006.
THE STATEMENT CALLED ON THE WORLD COMMUNITY TO CONTINUE EFFORTS AND ENDEAVORS TO SET MORE STEPS FOR CONSOLIDATING THE PILLARS OF DURABLE, FAIR, COMPREHENSIVE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
