GOVERNOR OF THE SAUDI ARABIAN MONETARY AGENCY (SAMA) HAMAD AL-SAYYARI SAID THE 30TH SESSION FOR COUNCIL OF THE GOVERNORS OF THE ARAB CENTRAL BANKS AND MONETARY AGENCIES HAVE UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSULTATION AND COORDINATION AMONG THE ARAB MONETARY AGENCIES AND CENTRAL BANKS FOR CONFRONTING THE INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGES. 'THE MEETINGS OF THE GOVERNORS HAVE PAVED THE WAY FOR FORMULATING A UNIFIED STAND AS REGARDS THE ARAB ADDRESS TO THE WORLD BANK (WB) AND THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND (IMF)', HE SAID. IN A STATEMENT TO SPA, HE SAID THE SPEECH OF THE SAUDI DELEGATION AT THE MEETINGS HAD UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF ACTIVATING THE ECONOMIC INSTITUTIONS IN GENERAL AND THE FINANCIAL COMMISSIONS IN PARTICULAR FOR REALIZATION OF AN ARAB INTEGRATION AND ECONOMIC MERGER', HE ELABORATED. AL-SAYYARI POINTED OUT THAT PROSPERITY IN THE ARAB WORLD DEPENDS TO A GREAT EXTENT ON ACTIVATING THE ARAB CENTRAL BANKS AND MONETARY AGENCIES AND ENABLING THEM USE MODERN TECHNOLOGY.
