Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ibrahim Alassaf, who is also the Kingdom's Governor to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB), chaired the second joint session of the Board of Governors of the IMF and WB which was held in Washington last night. Saudi Arabia is the rotating Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors for this year. The world's biggest financial institutions hold joint meetings annually to exchange consultations on economic and financial developments, review potentials of the world economy, monitor the risks facing it and forge the policies that ought to be adopted to enhance the world growth and support the international financial stability. On the other hand, Alassaf met with the Minister of Finance of Bosnia and Herzegovina Librika Martch and her accompanying delegation. During the meeting, economic relations between the Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina and ways of enhancing them were reviewed. On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Yousef bin Ibrahim Albassam, Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Development Fund and Dr. Hamad Albaze'e, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Economic Affairs.
