THE FOREIGN MINISTERS OF THE ARAB GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC) WILL HOLD THEIR 100TH SESSION TOMORROW IN JEDDAH UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE). GCC SECRETARY GENERAL ABDUL RAHMAN AL-ATIYYAH SAID A GREAT IMPORTANCE IS ATTACHED TO THIS SESSION IN VIEW OF THE DEVELOPMENTS BEING WITNESSED BY THE REGION. HE NOTED THAT A NUMBER OF IMPORTANT TOPICS INCLUDING THE ISRAELI AGGRESSION ON LEBANON, THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN THE PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES AS WELL AS GCC-IRANIAN RELATIONS IN ADDITION TO THE CURRENT SITUATION IN IRAQ, SOMALIA AND DARFUR WILL BE DISCUSSED BY THE MINISTERS. THE GCC IS MADE UP OF SAUDI ARABIA, THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, KUWAIT, QATAR, BAHRAIN AND OMAN.
