The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah, will visit President George W. Bush in September, the White House announced in a brief statement Wednesday. Al-Sabah, who became Emir of Kuwait in January, is due to meet with Bush on September 5. The White House said Bush looks forward to discussing with Sabah a range of bilateral and regional issues, including the war on terror, assistance and reconstruction of Iraq and Lebanon, and Kuwait's commendable progress on reform.
