SAUDI ELECTRIC COMPANY SAID THAT DUE TO HIGH WINDS WHICH SWEPT THE PROVINCE OF MOSAIJAID IN THE REGION OF MADINAH YESTERDAY, SEVEN ADJACENT POWER LINE TOWERS FELL DOWN. IN A PRESS STATEMENT ISSUED TODAY, THE COMPANY SAID THAT AS A RESULT OF THIS ACCIDENT, SUBSCRIBERS IN THE PROVINCE OF BADR, RAES AND MASTOORAH WERE DEPRIVED OF ELECTRICITY. THE COMPANY ADDED THAT ELECTRICITY HAS BEEN RESTORED TO SOME SUBSCRIBERS AND WORK TO RESTORE ELECTRICITY TO THE OTHER SUBSCRIBERS IS GOING ON.
