THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ PATRONIZED IN THIS RED SEA RESORT CITY OF JEDDAH TONIGHT THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE REGIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN THE FIELD OF THE TALENTED CARE, ORGANIZED BY KING ABDULAZIZ AND HIS MEN FOUNDATION FOR THE CARE OF THE GIFTED.
CROWN PRINCE SULTAN BIN ABDULAZIZ, DEPUTY PREMIER, MINISTER OF DEFENSE AND AVIATION AND INSPECTOR GENERAL, ATTENDED THE CEREMONY.
MORE THAN 1500 EXPERTS AND RESEARCHERS FROM INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE KINGDOM REPRESENTING 26 COUNTRIES ARE TAKING PART IN THE FIVE-DAY EVENT TO BE HELD UNDER THE TITLE "CARE OF THE GIFTED IS AN ASSET FOR THE FUTURE".
UPON ARRIVAL AT THE VENUE, KING ABDULLAH WAS RECEIVED BY PRINCE MISHAAL BIN MAJED BIN ABDULAZIZ, GOVERNOR OF JEDDAH PROVINCE; DR. ABDULLAH BIN SALIH AL-OBAID, MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE FOUNDATION; AND PRINCE KHALID BIN MASHARI BIN MIQREN , DEPUTY MINISTER OF EDUCATION FOR GIRLS EDUCATION.
ACCOMPANIED BY CROWN PRINCE SULTAN, KING ABDULLAH TOURED THE EXHIBITION HELD ON THE FRINGES OF THE CONFERENCE.
ADDRESSING THE OPENING CEREMONY, THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION HIGHLIGHTED THE ROLE OF KING ABDULLAH IN ENRICHING THE INTELLECTUAL LIFE IN THE KINGDOM, CITING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NUMBER OF CULTURAL FACILITIES, INCLUDING ALJANADRIYA FESTIVAL FOR HERITAGE AND CULTURE, KING ABDULAZIZ PUBLIC LIBRARY, KING ABDULLAH UNIVERSITY FOR SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY, KING ABDULAZIZ AND HIS MEN FOUNDATION FOR THE TALENTED AND KING ABDULAZIZ CENTER FOR NATIONAL DIALOGUE.
