With a focus on fueling the Kingdom's growing economy, Saudi Aramco met recently with more than 25 representatives of various companies from the Royal Commission in Jubail and Yanbu' to discuss ethane and natural gas liquids (NGL) feedstock in what is planned to be a semi-annual meeting under the theme, "Together for the Best." Held under the auspices of Oil Supply Planning and Scheduling (OSPAS), the meeting was attended by representatives of various Saudi Aramco departments, including Ju'aymah, Berri and Yanbu' gas plants; Pipelines; Gas and NGL Planning; Domestic Marketing; and Ras Tanura Refinery. OSPAS manager Ziyad A. Al-Azzouz started off the meeting by encouraging participants to boost communication and transparency and enhance relationships between customers and suppliers. Walid S. Al-Kulaibi, general supervisor of Gas and NGL, said the meeting was part of the development plan to supply customers with products, to discuss the liquefied gas distribution network and to listen to customers' suggestions and comments. Faisal J. Al-Zahrani of Gas and NGL explained the supply operations that start their cycle from 'Uthmaniyah, Shedgum, Berri and Abqaiq Gas Plants and end with distillation in Ras Tanura, Ju'aymah and Yanbu' refineries. He emphasized the importance of the production planning process in accommodating customers' energy needs across the Kingdom. Customers and Saudi Aramco representatives, then, discussed topics such as product quality, customer outreach mechanisms and customers' own programs concerning supply in terms of operation and temporary shutdown
