AN OFFICIAL SOURCE AT THE ARAB LEAGUE SAID THE LEAGUE HAS COMPLETED ALL ARRANGEMENTS FOR CONVENING THE EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE ARAB FOREIGN MINISTERS ON SUNDAY IN CAIRO. THE MEETING WILL BE CHAIRED BY THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE). THE SOURCE SAID THE ARAB FOREIGN MINISTERS ARE SCHEDULED TO REVIEW ISSUES INCLUDING A REPORT PRESENTED BY THE ARAB MINISTERIAL DELEGATION WHICH PARTICIPATED IN THE RECENT MEETINGS OF THE UN'S SECURITY COUNCIL PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE RESOLUTION 1701, AS WELL AS FOLLOWING UP THE SITUATION IN LEBANON IN THE LIGHT OF CEASEFIRE, THE ARAB EFFORTS FOR SUPPORTING LEBANON POLITICALLY AND MATERIALLY IN ADDITION TO THE ARAB PREPARATIONS FOR CALLING THE UN'S SECURITY COUNCIL TO HOLD A HIGH-RANKING MEETING NEXT SEPTEMBER FOR REVIEWING THE ARAB-ISRAELI DISPUTE.
