THE PRESIDENT OF THE ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK (IDB) DR. AHMAD MOHAMED ALI RECEIVED AT THE BANK'S HEADQUARTERS HERE TODAY SENEGAL'S MINISTER OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH YAYI KAN KASMA DIA AND THE ACCOMPANIED DELEGATION.
THE MINISTER THANKED THE BANK FOR ITS EFFORTS TO SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT IN SENEGAL AND LOOKED FORWARD TO ESTABLISHING THE AFRICAN CENTER FOR RESEARCHES AND APPLICATIONS.
ALSO, THE MINISTER HANDED OVER A MESSAGE TO THE PRESIDENT OF IDB FROM SENEGAL'S PRESIDENT ABDOULAYE WADE IN WHICH HE APPRECIATED THE EFFORTS MADE BY THE BANK TO SUPPORT SENEGAL.
ON HIS PART, THE PRESIDENT OF IDB ASSERTED THAT THE BANK IS COMPLETELY READY TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT.
