The council of the Arab foreign ministers, which held an extraordinary meeting here on Monday, condemned the Israel's continuous aggression on Lebanon and warned against the serious repercussions of such an aggression. The council reiterated the firm Arab support to Lebanon's government and people. The final communiqué, which was circulated today by the Council, said the Israeli policy based on resorting to force and the international policies which are based on dual standard and extending support to Israel which is occupying the Palestinian and Arab territories including the Lebanese Shaba farms, constitute the root-cause of this explosive crisis in Lebanon. The communiqué expressed opposition to all policies which aim at turning Lebanon into a theatre of an open confrontation. The communiqué condemned the hesitation of the security council to shouldering its responsibility towards the Israel aggression on Lebanon.
