Prince Bandar bin Sultan meets Chinese deputy foreign minister

Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of National Security Council held talks here today with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Dai Ping Quah.
Prince Bandar bin Sultan expressed the Kingdom's great concern over the current situation in Lebanon, its deterioration and aggravation, calling on the world community to urge the two conflicting parties on achieving an immediate cease fire and on providing assistance for the Lebanese people.
The Prince commended the positive efforts exerted by China to defuse the tension of the dispute between Israel and Lebanon and hoped that China would play a greater role in this regard.
