A JORDANIAN CAMERAMAN AND HIS LEBANESE DRIVER, WORKING FOR THE GERMAN TELEVISION CHANNEL N24, WERE HIT FRIDAY WHEN THEIR CAR CAME UNDER ISRAELI FIRE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON. THE TWO WERE SLIGHTLY WOUNDED AND WERE BEING TREATED AT A UN BASE IN NAQOURA, SOUTHERN LEBANON, UN SOURCES SAID. THE CREW WAS AMONG A CONVOY OF 150 RED CROSS VEHICLES WHICH WERE EVACUATING THE ELDERLY AND SICK FROM THE VILLAGE OF RMEISH. "THE CONVOY WAS RETURNING FROM RMIESH AND WE WERE ONLY FOUR KILOMETRES FROM THE UNIFIL BASE IN NAQOURA," THE INJURED CAMERAMAN MOHAMMED NAGAWI TOLD DEUTSCHE PRESSE-AGENTUR DPA BY TELEPHONE.
