HUNDREDS OF ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS CLASHED WITH RIOT POLICE OUTSIDE THE ISRAELI EMBASSY IN ATHENS TUESDAY, WHILE DOZENS MORE DESTROYED SHOPS AND CARS ACROSS THE GREEK CAPITAL IN PROTEST OF ISRAELI'S ONGOING BOMBING OF LEBANON, DPA REPORTED. MORE THAN 400 ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS THREW MOLOTOV COCKTAILS AND ROCKS AT POLICE WHO RETALIATED BY SPRAYING TEAR GAS AND WIELDING BATONS INTO THE CROWD OF PROTESTORS. MANY BROKE AWAY FROM THE MARCH TOWARDS THE ISRAELI EMBASSY AND PROCEEDED TO DESTROY STORE-FRONTS, BANKS AND DOZENS OF CARS.
