ORGANIZED BY LEADING RELIGIOUS PARTIES INCLUDING THE PAKISTAN'S SIX-PARTY ISLAMIC OPPOSITION ALLIANCE, MUTAHIDA MAJLIS-E-AMAL (MMA), PARTICIPANTS AT THE PEACEFUL PROTEST RALLIES IN ISLAMABAD, LAHORE, QUETTA AND PESHAWAR BURNT ISRAELI FLAGS AND EFFIGIES OF ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER EHUD OLMERT. ADDRESSING RALLIES, WHICH TOOK PLACE AFTER FRIDAY PRAYERS, RELIGIOUS LEADERS CONDEMNED ISRAELI "AGGRESSION" IN LEBANON AND CONTINUED "HOSTILITIES" IN PALESTINE. THEY URGED THE ISLAMIC WORLD AND THE ENTIRE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO TAKE PRACTICAL STEPS IN BRINGING AN END TO THE ONGOING CONFLICT IN LEBANON.
