Visiting Minister of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Iyad bin Amin Madani held talks here today with the Republic of Tatarstan president's advisor for international affairs Timor Uklo. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation in the cultural and inforamtion fields. Later, the minister paid a visit to Kazan Islamic University where he met with its principal and staff members. During a tour of the facility, they briefed him on the contents of the university, welcoming educational and cultural cooperation with Saudi authorities concerned. Madani arrived earlier today in Kazan coming from Moscow at invitation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Villa Woliva, who is also Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
