Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Muhammad Yussof, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, has visited Pakistan's Joint Staff Headquarters and called on General Ehsanul Haq, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), according to an official statement. He is currently on a five day official visit to Pakistan on the invitation of the CJCSC. He is a graduate of the Command and Staff College, Quetta. On his arrival, the visiting General was received by General Ehsanul Haq. A smartly turned out contingent of the three Services presented a guard of honour which was followed by a round of talks focusing on improving the existing levels of cooperation between the two countries. Later, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and his delegation attended a briefing on security perspective of Pakistan. On this occasion Haq underscored the need for enhancing bilateral military relations. The delegation also visited Naval Headquarters and called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir. Matters related to professional interest came under discussion during the meeting. The delegation visited Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) in Rawalpindi and Heritage Museum in Islamabad.
