Minister of Municipal & Rural Affairs Prince Miteb bin Abdul-Aziz has signed here with a number of specialized national companies nine contracts for municipal projects in Riyadh, Jeddah and Eastern Province, which are estimated to cost SR109 million. The projects include the first phase of traffic safety of Riyadh streets; the preparation of Jeddah-based urban development center; the second phase of maintenance of Makkah's old streets; construction of streets in Dammam, Qatif and Khobar; provision of Dammam Governorate with agricultural equipment; development of some of Dammam's beaches and a number of other developmental schemes.
