Under Secretary for information affairs at the Ministry of Culture and Information Dr Abdullah Al-Jasser will participate in meetings of the Under Secretaries of the information ministries in Arab Countries, due to be held in Cairo Tuesday. The Under Secretaries are scheduled to prepare the agenda for the 39th session of the council of the Arab information ministers scheduled to take place in the Egyptian capital next Saturday and Sunday. The agenda includes means of updating and developing the Arab information plan as well as the development of the council of the Arab information ministers. The agenda also includes following up resolutions of the council of the Arab information ministers pertaining to combatting terrorism, coordination in the field of satellite channels, cooperation at the international media commissions and federations, and other related topics.
