The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has approved a loan of $72 million to finance health and development projects in Jordan, according to a press statement of Jordanian Planning Ministry. The statement, which was issued earlier today in Amman said the grant of the loan is part of a cooperation program agreed upon by the IDB and the Jordanian government last year to finance developments projects over the next three years, involving a total investment of $452 million. The IDB'S lending to Jordan for the past ten years has exceeded an amount of $400 million.
