AGFUND donates $200,000 to relief activities to alleviate sufferings of quake-hit inhabitants in Indonesia, violence-affected in Timor and starvation-ridden in Somalia

Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of AGFUND, today announced his organization's donation of $200,000 to contribute to the relief activities currently ongoing in Indonesia in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake which left thousands killed and millions homeless, the assistance of victims of violence in East Timor and those affected by drought and starvation in Somalia.
The gesture comes as a continuation of AGFUND's role in alleviating the sufferings of the inflicted and strife-stricken people, particulary children, women and elders.
